The Account Director position is a senior client management position in organization, responsible for leading a team, accountable for client P&L, relationship building, marketing strategy, campaign development and management, and business analysis.
Account Director will be required to work on a portfolio of key clients and will manage client projects, deliver fresh and innovative campaigns, facilitate and contribute to strategic concepts and budgets.
The ideal Account Director is a highly passionate, collaborative, outgoing, creative oriented leader. A seasoned candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities:


  • Provide Strategic and Marketing Leadership
    • Works with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft effective
      strategies, develop marketing plans, communication solutions, and
      implements marketing campaign to help achieve client goals and drive
      business growth opportunities.
    • Take initiating and being pro-active in new ideas/concepts that will assist in
      achieving client objectives and new business prospects/opportunities
    • Lead to conduct research and interpret effective analysis to gain insights into
      target audiences, competitive landscape, and industry trends analysis to
      support marketing recommendations.
  • Build and Grow Client Relationships
    • Understand clients’ business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance.
    • Build trust, credibility, and client referrals.
    • Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships and ties.
  • Effectively Manage Team
    • Manage Client Service team of three to five marketing professionals
    • Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment.
    • Provide team leadership that rewards creativity.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to support the professional growth and performance of the team.
  • Manage Financial Performance
    • Achieve agency’s billing and revenue target for each client
    • Maintain or improve account profitability.
    • Take control on the smooth running of campaigns for Client(s) under agreed budget and timeframe with corporation of other department personnel in Agency and outside third party suppliers
  • Generate new leads to acquire new clients for agency
    • Identify product category that are not competing with current clients’ brands and make marketing call to new potential client
    • Make proposal with team to join the pitch of potential clients’ brand


  • Integrated Marketing Communication Experience: Advertising/ PR / Digital
  • With an understanding of current marketing trends and innovations
